you will notice in the individual profiles of our firm's lawyers, our firm
has a long tradition of service to the community and the legal profession.
We are proud of this record and believe that it is an important attribute
of our firm. Our lawyers' service to the bar, through section activities
and service on Supreme Court committees, has done more than sharpen our
professional skills. It has improved the performance and administration of
our legal system as well.
An integral part of our service to the community involves pro bono legal assistance for low income individuals. All the attorneys at Younge & Hockensmith are encouraged to offer their legal expertise in pro bono cases. We also continue to support the Mesa County Pro Bono Project with generous yearly grant funding. Our lawyers' service and leadership in community and civic organizations has not only contributed to the health and success of these institutions, it has knit our lawyers into the fabric of the community. Participation in these activities, which are worthwhile in their own right, extends the credibility and stature of our lawyers outside the legal community.
