Brittany Ray grew up a Western Slope native, raised in Montrose, Colorado. She then traveled to the University of Denver, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, graduating Cum Laude in 2008. While completing undergraduate studies, Brittany was actively involved in the University’s service organizations, as a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, President of the Panhellenic Council, and several other honor organizations.

In 2011, Brittany graduated Cum Laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, receiving her Juris Doctor. While in law school, Brittany was a member of Pi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity and participated in the Wills For Heroes Pro Bono Group, assisting public service members of the community in obtaining wills free of charge. She graduated with the highest distinction in Pro Bono Hours and obtained a Mediation Certificate in her years in law school.

Upon graduation, Brittany returned to the Western Slope of Colorado, eventually moving to Grand Junction. She joined Younge & Hockensmith in 2012 as an associate attorney, involved in the family law division of the firm, including prenuptial agreements, dissolution of marriage, parenting time, child support, modifications, and protection orders. Brittany is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Mesa County Bar Association, Mesa County Women's Network, and Junior Service League of Grand Junction.

Brittany enjoys the life that living on the Western Slope provides, including activities such as golf and hiking. She is an avid reader and loves cooking and watching football.
